PROGRAM NOTE
This piece is a stand-alone recasting of the raw material for the soundtrack to Jessie Shefrin's video One Head. The 9 sectiions bear little resemblance to the soundtrack except inasmuch as all of the sounds you hear are manipulations of the same sampled raw material: plastic rulers being twanged, water dripping from a tap, and my reading or singing a sketch page for the video project of various quotations, thoughts, and ideas. The video and soundtrack alike are about doubles—in space and in time.
